The Billet's Final Dimensions
After two more rolling steps the billet reached a length long enough to make both rings. Marina wanted her rings to be 4mm
wide, and I wanted mine to be about 8mm wide, so I checked that the billet would be wide enough.
We also wanted our rings to be about 1mm thick, and there was plenty of thickness to spare.
With the billet at its final dimensions, it was finally time to cut out the blanks for forming the rings.
