The Mandrel - Finishing the Curve The curving process was continued until the ring made it all the way around the mandrel. However, once the curve was finished, I realized another problem - the rings were still way too small!!!  That's my ring there, not Marina's. I am a size 9, and we're not even at a size 6 yet. So, after annealing again, I restraightened out the strips, annealed them again, and brought them back to the rolling mill.  After rolling again I had to reanneal, regrind and polish to the correct dimensions and repeat the entire curving process again. All this with only 7 days before the wedding!!!
