The 3D Model of My Current Apartment:

This 3D model and the associated drawings were all done with Google Sketchup, a free 3D modeling tool. Is nice. I like!!!

Floor Plan

This is the floor plan to my house, accurate to a distance of 1mm. I measured everything myself - it took over three hours! It was a good way not to get problem sets done, at least temporarily.

The Unfurnished Apartment - As Received

This is how the apartment looked when I got there, minus the kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, windows and radiators. It gives a pretty good feel for how the place looks when it's empty.

The Furnished Apartment, View from Above, Part 1

This is what the place would look like to a passing bird if the apartment had no ceiling. Painstaking effort was taken to recreate every detail, from the projector showing my favorite shows to the 1.1cm overhang of the crown molding over the doors. It's still a work in progresss.

View from the Front Door

This is the view of the apartment as one walks in from the main entrance.

The Kitchen

This is the kitchen. Notice the narrow gap between the stove and the wall, or the fridge and the wall. It effectively limits the kitchen to two people, but that's okay with me!

Living Room / Private Theater

This is the living room. This apartment was listed as a "1-Bedroom" apartment, but this room is actually bigger than the bedroom! I must say I am impressed with what counts as a 1BR apartment around here!

The Bedroom

This is the bedroom.

Looking Out from the Bedroom

This is another view of the whole place, seen from the bedroom door.
