Manganese Electrowinning Pieces
Source:  Found, Lab
Purity:  99.9%

Some of these are oxidized, some are not.  I haven't bothered to separate them out.  The surfaces are characteristic of electrowinning, a method of extracting metals from a solution using electric current.  In this process, a solution containing the metal ions to be extracted is put into a tank with 'transfer plates,' or large plates for plating out the metal.  A current is applied and the metal adheres to the plates in sheets.  This produces the characteristic finish - one smooth side, one lumpy, 'stingray skin' side.
