Single Crystal of Tantalum Source: Found, Abandoned Magnetism Lab Purity: 99.9999% This Tantalum sample, from the looks of things, was used to deduce its magnetic properties. A perfect disc of this single crystal was cut most likely to perfectly determine its mass and dimensions, or perhaps to fit in the sample holder. Luckily both pieces are still here. |
